Dutch marketplace Bol is introducing “a whole new ecosystem category”: third-party fulfillment, or 3PL for short. The market leader is looking for logistics companies that can help partner sellers with warehouse space and order fulfillment. Currently, sellers can only outsource fulfillment to Bol itself, but soon they will be able to outsource to other fulfillment companies within the network.

Imports of cheap packages to the EU increased by 26%
The number of low-cost e-commerce packages that the European Union received from countries outside the Union increased sharply again last year, by 26 percent. A total of 5.8 billion parcels worth up to 150 euros were imported. This represents roughly one package per EU citizen per month.
TikTok offers European fulfillment for Asian sellers
Asian companies selling on TikTok Shop in Europe can now outsource their logistics on the platform. Fulfilled by TikTok will be available to them through warehouses in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In addition to the sales platform, TikTok is increasingly positioning itself as a logistics service provider.
Topshop launches European online store
Fashion brand Topshop has launched a specialized European online store. The new website is active in 23 markets in Europe. Previously known as a high street brand, the brand has undergone a digital transformation.
Wolt is turning into a broad trading platform
Finnish e-commerce platform Wolt has launched an update to its app. With the update, the company wants to take a step towards becoming a cross-category trading platform. It gives retailers more opportunities to showcase their products to a wide audience.
