Almost a quarter of German consumers use online subscriptions for products such as razors, shampoos or flowers. On average, they have three active subscriptions. This is according to a survey of more than 1,000 German consumers by the digital industry association Bitkom.

German companies team up to launch EU-based product
Three German software companies have introduced an end-to-end e-commerce solution where all data and processes remain in Europe. Cloud provider STACKIT, platform provider Empiriecom and IT service provider Adesso have created an ecosystem that gives online sellers data sovereignty, in compliance with legal norms.

TikTok offers European fulfillment for Asian sellers
Asian companies selling on TikTok Shop in Europe can now outsource their logistics on the platform. Fulfilled by TikTok will be available to them through warehouses in Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In addition to the sales platform, TikTok is increasingly positioning itself as a logistics service provider.
